Appeal for information following burglaries in the Cotswolds

Police are appealing for information following two burglaries in the Cotswolds last month.

Officers were called following a burglary at a residential building site in Oddington where unknown offenders forced a downstairs window of the property and stole power tools worth £3500.

This is believed to have happened between 4pm on Tuesday 23 January and 7.15am on Wednesday 24 January.

Another incident in Moreton-in-Marsh saw offenders gain entry to a property in Varsity Close by smashing the front door handle and lock sometime between midnight and 7.30am on Friday 26 January.

It is thought the offenders were disturbed as they were searching the property and left with a white hand towel.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in Oddington or Moreton-In-Marsh or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage to get in touch.

Information can be provided to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 72 of 24 January: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
