Scam alert


We are aware of a ‘’distraction'' scam/ robbery  circulating in your area. 

On Saturday 13th April in the area close by Morison Supermarket and George Veterinary Clinic in Nailsworth, a person was accosted by two females with the false pretence of collecting money for a charity and then they physically attacked the person managing to take his watch. 

Description of the females : late 20's , eastern European accent,  height 5'6'', wearing white tops, possibly blue leggings, stocky build, both wearing face masks.

 The females were last seen going towards Minchinhampton Common.   

 

Please help us raise awareness of this scam by informing your elderly or vulnerable relatives, friends and neighbours.
