We have had a run of calls into police today regarding Nottingham Knockers.

What are Nottingham Knockers?

Generally they are salesmen going door to door selling either cleaning or gardening products at very inflated prices.  Vulnerable persons are a target.  Generally these persons are ex-convicts on a rehabilitation scheme, however, they could also be checking a property out.

Today we have received reports of these salesmen in Berkeley/Eastington/Purton/Breadstone/Coaley & Stroud.

We have reports of a male around the 30's age range with a northern accent around 6ft in height and muscular build.

Some reports have stated the male was pushy bordering on aggressive in nature, however, other reports suggest he was polite.
