Anti-social behaviour


We are aware of an incident of antisocial behaviour in your area. 

On Monday 13th January we received reports of a group of youths throwing tree branches towards vehicles on the Wortley road. The branches were thrown by youths stood in the entrance to the cemetery. 

 In response,  officers have been increasing patrols in that area to reassure local residents. Officers have been liaising with the Town council who have cleared away items discarded in the cemetery and have conducted joint patrols with the Neighbourhood warden Andy Beamish.
