A busy day for officers from the Neighbourhood Support Team.
Arrest 1; a motorcycle had previously failed to stop for Police on the 17th May. Upon seeing police this time the rider has abandoned the motorcycle and ran away. Unfortunately for him, after a short foot pursuit he was apprehended. A 27 male of no fixed abode was arrested on STROUD ROAD for driving with no licence, no insurance, drug driving and possession of cannabis. The vehicle was seized under section 165 of the road traffic act.
Arrest 2; a 33 year male has been circulated as #wanted for a shoplifting offence. He was spotted on STATION ROAD and arrested.
Arrest 3; Officers have seen a suspected drug deal take place on BARNWOOD ROAD. Suspect detained under section 23 of the misuse of drugs act and searched. A large quantity of class A drugs and cash was recovered. The 58 Year male from Gloucester duly arrested.
Arrest 4; Officers exercised their powers under section 18 of PACE (authority to search a premise) and located a 31 male from Birmingham. He was subsequently arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs after he was found in possession of a large quantity of class A drugs.
