This Community Alert is for businesses in and around Newent. 

There have been a number of theft's in your area.

We are aware that 2 stores have been targeted in Newent Town Centre, where an unknown offender has entered shops and removed the charity collection tins placed at the tills. 

Please can all shops be mindful of their charity tin locations, if possible secure these using a chain, or keep them out of sight/ reach of customers.
