Police Appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses or CCTV following an incident on Monday 27th April at 0930hrs whereby a female has been approached in The Forum car park, CIRENCESTER by an unknown male.

The victim had just parked her vehicle and was walking towards town with her young son when the male has approached her from the direction of Tower Street, CIRENCESTER and made several explicit sexual remarks towards her.  The victim has walked away but the male has remained in the area for a short while before eventually walking back towards Tower Street once again.

The suspect is described as a slim white male, approximately 5’8” tall and aged approximately in his thirties.  He had short greasy dark hair and was wearing a t-shirt, trousers and trainers.  He was also carrying a holdall and spoke with a local accent.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, especially those who may have doorbell CCTV or dashcam footage.  We are also interested to hear from anyone who may have experienced a similar incident which they feel may be related.
