Update following incident in Whelford last Sunday (27 September)

Following the incident which occurred in Whelford near RAF Fairford in the early hours of Sunday (27 September), we know you may still have a lot of questions as we return to normality.

If your question relates to a particular service provided by the local authority, such as waste collection, you can contact Cotswold District Council from Monday to Friday to discuss. Outside of these times, such as at the weekend, please contact your ward councillor to raise any issues: https://www.cotswold.gov.uk/about-the-council/

You can find the answers to some frequently asked questions here: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/police-forces/gloucestershire-constabulary/areas/gloucestershire/about-us/about-us/faqs-for-whelford-residents/

Although there will be no longer be any Police Information Points in place this weekend, officers from our Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to patrol the area and are happy to talk to you about any local policing concerns or questions you have.

Due to the nature of the investigation, which is being led by Counter Terrorism Policing, we likely won't be able to answer all of your questions, but we are happy to take feedback and raise any questions with relevant partners.
