Meeting notice (local policing event)

Dear residents,

Just a courtesy Community Alert to advise you to be vigilant in and around your property ,  especially now the darker nights are coming.

In Winchcombe over the last two days,  there was an attempted theft of a motorbike .

Please be extra careful when you enter your property, lock doors and windows if possible when you retire for the night,  or leave the property.

Leave lights on a timer switch if you have them,  and leave the radio or television on.   It does give the impression to people  that you are inside your property.

Ensure you lock things away in a shed, whether mowers, trimmers or other gardening items.   If you don't  have a shed, please ensure cycles and motorbikes are locked up and out of the way of prying eyes.  As the saying goes 'prevention is better than cure'

Thank you for your attention,

Kind regards,

PCSO FELLOWES 9108
